A New Home for a Veteran

A veteran of the Iraq War and her family are getting a new home. The single-family house is being built by Warren County Habitat for Humanity with electrical material donated by Turtle & Hughes.

The house is located on Pleasant Valley Road in Washington, NJ, on land donated by a fellow veteran. It will be the future home of Bob McManus, Heather Freeman, and their two young children. Freeman served in the Army National Guard, which made her eligible for the Habitat for Humanity Veterans Build Initiative. The electrical contractor for the project is Matrix NAC.

This is not the first time that Turtle & Hughes has supported the non-profit organization. Most recently, the company donated materials for a two-family house in Port Colden, NJ, that just passed final inspection.

Construction on the Pleasant Valley Road house started in June and is expected to be completed sometime next Spring.

Habitat for Humanity relies of volunteers and donors in order to build homes with low-cost, affordable mortgages. If you would like to participate in the construction of this home, or donate towards its cost, please follow the links below.
